with Veronica Lee:
If I wanted to meet a beautiful and intelligent woman like
Veronica Lee, what would be the best place to meet you?
Veronica Lee: Because of the busy work schedule that I keep
and the constant travel that I do, the best place to meet me would be through a
friend or at any parties/restaurants that my friends would take me when I am in
town. I love to socialize and see the sites of every city/country that I visit.
What’s the worst place for a guy to hit on you?
Veronica Lee: The worst place for a guy to hit on me would be
when I am working. I take my job seriously and when I accept a photo shoot,
etc...I expect it to be a very professional environment where both
photographer/crew and myself can work together without any awkward feelings or
ulterior motives involved. I think there is a time and place for people to have
social time.
What’s the worst pick-up line you’ve ever heard?
Veronica Lee: The worst pickup line that I ever heard was:
"Wow, there are sooo many!" But one that really stands out in my mind is one
time when I was in a night club with my girlfriends and this guy came up to me,
and introduced himself as some big shot boasting up and down about himself, and
proceeded to tell me that he had a Ph.D., and I was thinking, "What you have a
P.h.D.? Pizza Hut Delivery". He responded: "Do you know what I consider to be a
Ph.D.? A Pretty Huge D***!!!" That sent me over the edge. I couldn't believe
that this guy thought he could win a girl over by using a lame line like that!
Needless to say, he didn't score!
What’s the best or most creative pick-up line you’ve ever
heard?
Veronica Lee: To tell you the truth, I don't think I haven't
really heard any creative lines. All guys seem to use the same ones...Maybe it
is because they share the ones that worked with their friends, and keep using
the same lines that everybody else uses.
What approach is most likely to work with you?
Veronica Lee: The approach that usually works on me is when a
guy is just himself and natural. Most girls can pick-up when a guy is not
sincere and honest. I like it when a guy just comes up to introduce himself, and
wants to get to know me as a person rather than trying to impress me by boosting
about himself and his accomplishments. I like a guy who is confident and is just
out to meet people, and have a good time. He will get much further with me, if
he just relaxes, and enjoys our time together.
What signals do you give to a man when you want him to make
the first move?
Veronica Lee: The signals I give are very subtle. A guy will
usually know when I am into him, give him small little glances, takes lots of
sips (usually I have a straw) to - I guess - draw attention to my lips. I also
sit with my legs crossed and my knees close to his. That is a for sure-sign that
I am into you, and would like to get to know you better.
What signals do you give a man when you want him to stay
away?
Veronica Lee: I tend to be stand offish, and my body language
clearly signals that I'm not interested. I am never very verbal unless the guy
doesn't get the hint. Sometimes, I just excuse myself and make an exit.
Have you ever been in a situation when two men competed for
your attention at the same time? Who won, and why?
There have been times when I have to choose between two guys
that have been interested in me. The guy that usually wins my affections is the
guy who is honest and sincere with me, feels relaxed and at ease when I am
around. I love to be able to have a conversation with someone without feeling
pressured or having to work too hard just to break any awkward silences. Little
things that a guy can do to make me feel special. They don't have to be big
elaborate gifts, but something from the heart. I had one guy who bought me all
these expensive gifts, trips, etc...and another guy who just did small, yet
meaningful things for me, e.g., hand-picking a bouquet of flowers. I was so
touched by the effort of the flowers that he won my heart. Ultimately, I go for
the guy that I have the most in common with, and of course, the guy that I am
most sexually attracted to. The chemistry has to be there.
What are your biggest turn-ons?
My biggest turn on are guys that are self-confident, and
go-getters. I am very much like that myself, and it shows me that a
self-confident man will not be intimidated by me. I also love a physically fit
guy who knows how to be affectionate and compassionate. Someone who is not
afraid to show his feelings. But most importantly someone who thinks of others.
What are your biggest turn-offs?
The biggest turn off are guys that boast and brag about
themselves. I think guys should be proud of their accomplishments but modesty
goes a long way with me. Also guys that treat others with disrespect really turn
me off, too. You have to be kind and considerate to be in my books. Also obvious
things like bad hygiene and low self-esteem rank low with me.
