1. post a link to our site and

2. email us the location of the link to: links

3. We update our site 2x a month, so please be patient.  We will include your link in our directory if you linked to us. Thank you!

Learn how to build an effective links/resources directory

To enhance your site and our site's link popularity and rank in various search engines, we highly recommend that you:

1. Submit every page in your links directory to search engines on a regular basis. Include every page in your links directory in your sitemap. Check out our sitemap.

2. The links directory should be no more than 1-click away from your home page. That way, your links will be crawled by the search engines more often. A link partners site should not be more than 2 clicks away from the home page.

3. Install the free Google toolbar to monitor your site's link popularity. Your subpages are also ranked if they have been crawled. If your subpages (= link pages) have not been crawled, your links directory may be less desirable.

4. Feature no more than 100 links on any page. More than that is considered spamming. Create theme-based link directories.

5. You'll note that all links in our links directory on any page, are directly or closely related. That is, gift-related shopping sites are listed with other gift-related shopping sites. Gambling sites are listed with other gambling sites.

6. Give new sites a chance! It sometimes takes a few month for a new site to build its link popularity. Even if their Google PR is low at first, it could rise over time.

7. Use the the keywords you want to optimize your site for in the title and description.  A plain link is almost useless.

8. Some of us use link exchange software to automate the link exchange process. Most software programs just take the link descriptions and title information from your home page's META tags. Make sure they are correct.

9. Don't ever cheat and remove a link once you've agreed to a link exchange.
